Thin Lips

To create fuller lips we need to:

  • Ensure that the lips are oil free by way of cleansing/primer/foundation & powder.
  • Draw your establishing lines out side of your own lip line (overline).
  • First create a new cupids bow and then line from the outside corners of the mouth into the centre of the lower lip and cupids bow.
  • Apply highlighter to cupids bow to make this area appear fuller.
  • Once lip stick is applied, add gloss to the centre of the bottom lip.

 

Thin Upper/Lower Lip

  • Ensure that the lips are oil free by way of cleansing/primer/foundation & powder.
  • Over line the areas of the mouth that you need to create more volume. Remember that it is best to overlie rather than underline to achieve a balanced look.

 

Full Lips

  • Ensure that the lips are oil free by way of cleansing/primer/foundation & powder.
  • Apply foundation/concealer & powder over the lip line to conceal it.
  • Create a lip line outside of the corners of the lips to meet with the natural cupids bow and centre bottom lip.

 

Downturned Lips

  • Ensure that the lips are oil free by way of cleansing/primer/foundation & powder.
  • Apply foundation/concealer & powder over the lip line to conceal it.
  • Create an uplift at the corners of the mouth with the liner.
  • Extend the corners of the lower lip to meet with the new corners of the top lip.
  • This correction looks best with opaque/dark colours.

 

Asymmetrical

  • Ensure that the lips are oil free by way of cleansing/primer/foundation & powder.
  • Create balance by overlaying the lips if possible, rather than under lining to create your ideal shape.
