This post is going to provide everything that you need for that ever-so-important makeup bag to take with you on your Coachella trip! I’ve tried to compact everything as best as I can so you can go from bare faced to glam in under 15 minutes…

First thing is first, let’s work on that skin! Time to get that Summer glow 🙂

Foundation

Tip : Already own Nars Sheer Glow but don’t want to take the whole thing? Pop down to your nearest drugstore and ask for an empty tester bottle and pour out just what you need for your travels!

This foundation is perfect for a natural but radiant finish with a build able coverage, as a rule of thumb the more tan you get then the less foundation you need. You can pick it up from most drug stores for around £32.00.

Concealer

Taste Shape Tape anyone? This concealer is amazing, it’s full coverage but creamy with intense staying power. You won’t have to think about touch ups at all through the day, perfect for festival season! Pick one up for yourself from £19.00.

Face Compact

This Instant Look in A Palette by Charlotte Tilbury is perfect when your on the go. it contains the Film Star Bronze & Glow bronze & highlight powders which has great pigment payoff which mimics the most beautiful sun kissed complexion.

It also has 2 blushers in rose hues for a wonderful glow and 3 eyeshadows for a natural smokey eye look that just screams Summer! Go and grab yours now for £49.00 before they all sell out, it is limited edition after all.

Eyes

Better Than Sex Mascara by Too Faced, this mascara is great for hot summer days as it’s waterproof and had ultimate staying power. It does make lashes look clumpy like a lot of traditional waterproof mascara’s do, instead you will be left with almond shaped cat eyes – wonderful!

Lips

Elizabeth Arden’ Pro Triple Protection Lip Balm will get your lips through the dry heat the hopefully come along with festivals! It has an SPF of 30 as well as triple action from antioxidants to help keep lips hydrated and looking plump. For £18.00 this product will last you all through the Summer.

Optional Picks!

Here are a couple of things that I would personally take with me as I do like to experiment with makeup, especially at festivals!

Eyes

Nyx Ultimate Brights Palette – this palette contains 16 wonderfully vivid shades to experiment with whilst your on your travels! It’s compact in size, has matte and shimmer shades inside which are great for natural or bold looks. For just £16.00 I couldn’t refuse picking one up!

Lips

I never like to leave my lips bare if possible, I’m more of a bold lips girl than bold eyes or anything that plumps up the volume of my lips. For Festivals I love going for something that is wearable and has a high shine like this one from Tom Ford £35.00.

All Over

Glitter! What kind of festival is it if there’s no glitter involved anyway? These handy little pots from In Your Dreams are great for taking away with you, even more importantly they can be used anywhere on your body, including your eyes. It’s a great multi use product and it comes in at under £6.00.
