Let me introduce you to the most recent Autumn/Winter makeup trends for 2017! Some of these are making a BIG comeback as what goes around comes around and I for one am thankful that these beautiful looks are back in fashion this season. So let’s jump straight into the run down…
- No makeup-makeup
This will ALWAYS be one of my favourite looks. It’s so understated yet powerful and it enhances your features just enough that it still looks super natural. Just some concealer, mascara and a slight stain for the cheeks and lips is all you need. Shop the new breathable concealer & foundation from Rimmel – to will help to perfect this look effortlessly!
Whether you are channelling the ice queen in time for Christmas or whether you are not quite ready to let go of the summer bronzed goddess just yet, you can work this look. This palette from will have you covered! Check out this metals palette from Nyx to give you an array of shiny powders to play with.
- Hints of red
Try that pop of red liner! Dab that strong strawberry hue stain on the apples of your cheeks or rock a bold lip. Try this beautiful & afford palette from Loreal if you’re unsure of which colour to try out 🙂
- Berry Lips
Opt for perfectly imperfect with this look this Winter, dab on a little stain or build up a bold colour by patting onto the ups ad finishing off with a tiny bit of balm! Try this amazing shade of berry by Lord & Berry.
- Spider Lashes
Doesn’t this just scream 60’s supermodel? I’ve always been a little hit and miss with this trend but with a smooth berry lip and a minimalistic complexion it looks absolutely stunning! Look for something buildable and long wearing like this false lash effect mascara from Max Factor.
- Bold Colour
This trend doesn’t have to be neon to make it work, just a bright pop of colour will do the work. Make it as bold of as subtle as you want! Personally I think it looks wonderful as a bright liner or graphic eye look. Look out for multi use products like this liner from Nyx in bright colours!
Let me know which of the ‘new’ makeup trends for Autumn/Winter 2017 was your favourite? I’m in love with the style this year and can’t wait to revamp some of these looks this season.
